Authors Stan Goldstein and Jean Mikle have taken their book and walking tours to another level with a DVD that shows the sights and scenes of rock 'n' roll related sites in Asbury Park, Freehold and more. Fans can see the places at the Jersey Shore that Bruce Springsteen and others made famous--even if you can't make the "pilgrimage" in person. The DVD takes the viewers to the historical sites in Asbury Park, Freehold, Red Bank, Belmar, Long Branch and more. Shot in 2003, some of the sites no longer exists including the Palace Amusements. Also there are interviews with original E Street Band drummer Vini Lopez, Stone Pony DJ Lee Mrowicki, Freehold native Carl Beams, Saint owner Scott Stamper and tour guides Goldstein and Mikle. You'll see Springsteen's former homes, where he did photo shoots, filmed videos, his old haunts in Asbury Park tracing back to the start of his career and where he still returns to play today. Packaged in a slimline jewelcase with picture sleeve.
